After seeing bumper stickers for most of my youth, I actually went to SoB almost 30 years ago on a spring break road trip from Brunswick, ME to Ft. Lauderdale. (You probably remember that was the place back in the day.) As I recall, the bulletin boards started in Virginia - "Pedro Says South of the Border is Numero Uno".
