I have no idea that this is the real score in notary business primarily because I wasn't concerned about this matter before. Now that I am in the process of buying home, I started visiting sites like these to check on good advises and suggestions about mortgage and notaries. I found good site and thanks for this simple but informative info.

Good feedback. I've worked on the Closing side for a mortgage lender and can say we've serious issues with loans "closed" by notaries. Especially on mail-away deals.

Most lenders require someone at the table to represent the bank for no other reason than we can hold them responsible for explaining to the borrower what exactly they're committing to.
