By now you know that the cost of mailing a letter or bill is going up on May 12th. Instead of 41 cents, it will now cost 42 cents. And many of you probably have some leftover 41 cent stamps and will not make it to the post office for one cent stamps. So, do you pay 82 cents to mail a payment?
Chances are that many of your past clients are facing that same situation. The solution? Why not go to the post office and pay $20-$40 to get a whole bunch of one cent stamps and mail them with a short letter to your client database? Ten stamps per letter. This is the second time I have done this and I have gotten many calls as a result. Some repeat business has followed as a result. It is remembered for a long time. Why? Who else is doing it?
So, what are you waiting for? After all, this is an inexpensive way to market to your clients.
